Our 10 week Impact Fitness challenge is designed to do just that and be fun at the same time. Our course combines kickboxing, mma, strength training, and an easy to follow nutritional program to help you find your healthy body. Losing weight can be difficult, but our proven program can help guide you down the path. We are here to help you every step of the way.

How we help you get in shape

Evaluations and Fitness Metrics

Results matter, so we track them! First we start with a full fitness evaluation. During this evaluation, we test your upper body strength and endurance by using a push up test. Next we test your abdominal core strength. After that, we do everyone’s favorite, the body fat test. You will learn what your body is actually made of. Body composition is a much more accurate test of your overall health than weight, because muscle weighs more than fat. Last we will test your cardiovascular health with a little run/walk. These tests give us a baseline to start. This way we know how your body is reacting to the training and if we need to make adjustments. We will go through the evaluation at the beginning, at the 5 week mark, and at the end of the course.

Nutritional Plan

This is where most people get worried in their weight loss process. The eating plan is actually very easy. Basically we ask that you eat a balance of proteins, good carbohydrates, and vegetables. We will show you exactly how to plan out and track your food intake. You will have many choices, so you will not be limited to a small selection. There will be no special supplements or prepackaged foods or shakes necessary. We believe in eating “real food”, and if you are starving, something is wrong. The body needs to be nourished, as you will be working out hard.

Fitness through Martial Artskickboxing for weight loss

Our classes are where we really shine. Martial artists are consistently shown to be the best conditioned athletes in the world and you will train like them. The workout program will vary, so you will never get bored, with the centerpiece being kickboxing. Kickboxing has been shown to help burn up to 800 calories in an hour. These classes are so efficient in burning fat because they use the entire body in every movement. The strength training portions of the program are important as this is where you strengthen and tone your muscles. As you improve your musculature, your body will actually start to burn more calories even as you are resting. The body will turn into a “fat furnace.” This is one of the keys to weight loss.

Fun Classes, Flexible Schedule, and Supportive Classmates

We believe that getting in shape does not have to be torture. Our classes are always taught with a positive attitude with the focus on helping you to reach your personal fitness goals. With morning and evening classes, you will find some that will fit even your busy schedule. Sometimes normal gyms can be a little intimidating with clients being just another number. Not here! We welcome you to class each day, and the cool thing is, with our small classes, you will start to bond with your fellow classmates and make friends. This helps with accountability, helps you to reach your weight loss goals, and makes class that much more fun.

My name is Greg Fisher and I will be your coach and instructor. I have been involved in martial arts for over 23 years. I became interested in fitness and health because I wanted to reach my potential as an athlete. This led to me earning my college degree in Exercise Science. Since then it has been my mission to help people to be healthy and defend themselves from things like heart disease, obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and any other physical ailments that can be managed or prevented. The course costs $300 and includes a pair of boxing gloves. This is much cheaper than a personal trainer, as those guys average about $60 per session, and more fun than a boot camp.
